Super Visa is a unique program introduced in December 2011. It is a multiple entry, temporary but extended visa for parents/grandparents of permanent residents and Canadian citizens. It may be valid up to 10 years. Parents/Grandparents can stay in Canada up to two years at a time.

Canadian Super Visa is a blessing for persons who love to be with their Parents/Grandparents!

REQUIREMENTS ARE

A letter of invitation from the child or grandchild.
Most recent year tax documents from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) that prove the child or grandchild meets the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO). To know the Minimum Income requirements Click Here
Note: Count the family members by including sponsor, family members of sponsor and persons to be sponsored.
For example: if a child has family of 4 members in Canada (including himself) and he wants to sponsor 2 parents, then he has to meet LICO for 6 persons.
Proof of parent-child relationship with child or grandchild like birth certificate.
Proof of medical insurance coverage a minimum of $100,000 for at least one year with a canadian insurance company.
Must pass medical exam.
